Dear Chuan’rs and Chuan’r’s friends,
Time to announce our plan for December. Although I was glad to hear that I should get an award from Kreuzberg district government for bringing people here to discover its charming corners, it is still nice to wander a bit in the city for a change.
In December we will have two parties, one in Mitte, the other in Charlottenberg.
Both of these parties will be hosted by my brilliant partner, Tracy Wong, who has rich experience in international exchange programs and has been educated in Hong Kong and Europe. Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Please contact her if you are interested in joining the 5th party, which requires RSVP.
Here is the information of the two parties:

We have the pleasure to co-host our fourth party in Mitte at the Zhong Gallery http://www.zhonggallery.com/index.php/Home/index/l/en.html with its Berlin partner, Lu Mei as our guest speaker.
Educated in Beijing and the Netherlands for 9 years in decorative design, culture and art history, mix video and painting and visual communication, Lu Mei has rich experiences in promoting the art exchange programs between China and Europe. Chuan’r’s 5th Party: Savoring Asian Tea in Berlin in Designer’s Cups
Venue: P & T, Bleibtreustraße 4, Berlin-Charlottenburg
Time: 7:30pm, 16th December, 2014
Some of you might have learned about P & T, a very special tea house that was opened in 2012 in Berlin that determines to introduce the authentic tea culture in Asia to Berlin. But unlike the traditional apothecary modeled Asian tea houses, its space is designed in Boutique style, bright and chic.
P & T’s founder, Jens de Gruyter, is a young French Canadian passionate with Asian tea. He will give a talk about his passion inspired by his trips to Asia. A ceremonial demonstration will follow. Chuan’rs will learn how to savor fragrant, warm Asian tea in the cold drizzles of Berlin’s winter, appreciating its serenity.
However, to complete the full Chuan’rs ceremony: after the talk and ceremony, the owner will take us to a more informal setting in the area for less sobering drinks.
Due to the limited space of the shop and the quiet environment needed for this ceremony, we cannot adopt our usual open-door party policy this time. Please send your application to Tracy for reservation of seats. Email: email@example.com
A Brief Introduction of Jens de Gruyter (Very Brief)
Jens de Gruyter is a young French Canadian with a formal life in the global photography industry, before his passion with Asian tea culture brought him into a vocation to “spread the word on good tea and to help people become aware and appreciate its merits for a creative and fulfilling lifestyle”.
